Effective Business Writing Skills

What you’ll learn:

This course teaches the participant how to deliver well-written readable content, engaging the reader with clear, strong sentences, clear messages, while avoiding common writing errors. When required, training in the use of company templates can be included. It is an intensive course, offering a thorough grounding on all areas of writing.

The course has three distinct sections:

  • planning/pre-writing;
  • writing;
  • review/editing.

    Who is the course for?

    Every business and organisation communicates internally and with its stakeholders through its writing. It ties up a lot of time and energy and can produce overwritten, cluttered work. Employees at any level can benefit from this course. One-to-one training is offered for senior managers if required.

    Participants must supply relevant samples of their business writing. If required, the trainer is happy to sign an NDA for all work supplied by participants.

    This course is delivered in person over 2 x 3 hour sessions OR one full day.

    It can also be delivered live on Zoom.

      I use my new and improved writing skills every day.  Before we had our sessions, I was beginning to dread pulling a comms email together.  But now, I’m actually enjoying it.  I allow myself time to plan and think about what I want to say.  I learned so much from you and I really enjoyed the sessions too.  They were good fun.
