“Promote your Event like a Pro” is a practical interactive course, designed to help you become an effective and efficient promoter of your event, big or small.
It teaches you the practical skills to make good content, write a great press release, and get it out there to your target audience.
It’s run over 4x 3-hour live online sessions, live on Zoom, with interactive practical assignments, and pre-recorded video lessons. Access to the online lessons is available for a year after you complete the course.
On completion of this course, you will have the skills to make a short video for social media, write an effective press release, know how to circulate it, know how to do a media interview.
For this course, you will need a good smartphone, ideally an event to promote, and at least one social media channel up and running.

Assignment 2.6: Write 3 top questions and do briefing notes.
